Hello! My name is Lydia. I’ve been caring for children for as long as I can remember, coming from a family of 15 children, 12 of which are younger than me, I was always helping my siblings with their homework and helped my parents care for them as well.
I babysat all through middle school and high school and became a nanny as soon as I graduated high school, in 2007. Throughout the past 12 years I’ve nannied in the United States, Singapore and Australia. I love teaching and exploring with the children I care for, which only confirmed that this is where I wanted to be. Every child is unique which has allowed me the opportunity to grow and learn how to adapt to the needs of each individual family and love every aspect of my day. Whether it’s driving children to activities, exploring new local attractions, coordinating play-dates, or working on educational activities, I love it all!
My experience with nannying over the years gave me a unique understanding of what qualities a person must pose in order for them to not be just a good nanny, but a great nanny. With both my own experiences as a nanny and experience placing nannies with families over the years, I am confident that I am equipped with the knowledge of what is required and expected of a nanny so that I will be able to meet the needs of both parties.
I will personally interview each family and nanny and guide each through the matching and placement process to ensure you are all completely happy with your placement and experience with The Nanny Co. I can also provide resources for educational and development classes for both children and nannies, payroll, insurance, and many other needs you may have.
As I’m still so passionate about caring for children, I’m lucky enough to be able to continue to nanny, all while helping others match with their perfect family or nanny. I look forward to working with you on your journey to find the perfect match!
